When I graduated from Caltech, I felt like my education was not yet done. Talking to some friends, I came to the conclusion that my education will (hopefully) never be done. With MS programs being prohibitively expensive and not being sure that I wanted to reapply to PhD programs yet, I decided to take my education into my own hands. I present my notes from reading, problem set solutions, and other summaries here partially as an (incomplete) catalog of what I've read and learned (and felt like transcribing notes on), and partially in the hopes that someone out there will find them useful for some reason or other. Thanks for visiting and feel free to e-mail me at the contact address on the front page if you have any questions, comments, or corrections.
I am trying to post notes that don't just plagiarise the content of textbooks so that I am not just committing awful copyright violations. If you are an author or publisher and you have a problem with something I have posted here, please also contact me.
